SOLVED: How do I get my music to play through my earphones.
How to stop music from automatically playing when I plug my phone into the car? iPhone. My iPhone can connect to my car via Bluetooth or via USB, but I mostly connect to it via USB. Most of the time, I connect my phone to my car to of course blast music that is on my phone when I’m driving. However, sometimes I don’t want that. Sometimes I just wanna have the GPS voice play through the car.
The problem I am having is when I plug in headphones to watch video or web streaming, I hear the audio thru the headphones but it is still playing audio thru the laptop speakers. Quite annoying to room mates. Every laptop I have had before would automatically disable speakers when headphones in use, either one or the other played never both. Is there a setting for this or do I have a hardware.
I know I can turn down the volume, tell Siri to stop the music, hit the iPhone button twice, etc.; however, I want to stop Spotify from automatically starting in the first place. There are no options in either my car's Bluetooth settings or the iPhone app or Bluetooth settings or the Spotify settings that I can find that will accomplish this. This is a showstopper for me, and if I can't do it.
When you upgrade your iPhone or iPad to iOS 7, you can turn on and off the Bluetooth feature and manage Bluetooth devices from within the new Control Center. To access the Control Center, swipe your finger in an upward direction, starting at the bottom of the screen when the device is turned on. Then, tap the Bluetooth icon.
With headphones plugged in, set incoming call ringtone to play through speaker. Ask Question Asked 9 years, 2 months ago. Active 4 days ago. Viewed 18k times 12. 2. I use my phone to play music at work. When I wander away from my desk, I often leave my headphones plugged in. If someone calls my phone when the headphones are plugged in, the phone rings, but only through the headphones and I end.
So, I wanted to know if there was a way to automatically mute the speakers when my headphones were disconnected. I tried device management but my speakers appear to be seen as the same as my headphones whichever I'm using. I'm running Windows Vista business on an HP Compaq 2710p and my speakers are SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio. Thanks in advance.
Of course you could save battery power by not playing music, or you could switch to headphones, which won't require as much power as the iPhone's internal speakers. Note that the music equaliser.
